How to place an order
Finding what you want
There are three options to navigate to the Product that you require.
These are:
- Locating the category of product on the left menu
- Using the search facility at the top of the left column
- Browsing the entire catalogue through the ‘Browse Products’ link on the top menu
Once you have navigated to the Products page you will be presented with a number of different products. A maximum of 12 are displayed on any one page - use the scroll bar on the right hand side of the page to move through the list. If there are more than 12 products and you wish to see the next page, simply press the next page number at the top of the screen.
A small picture and a description of each item are displayed on this page. Once you have identified a product you may be interested in click on the image. You will then be presented with a detailed description of the product including specifications, features, prices and delivery times. This page will also identifiy if the product is eligible for VAT Relief and will provide details of other products that you may be interested in or which other customers have bought. The pictures within this page can also be enlarged to view the product in more detail.
If you would like to select an item for purchase simply press the 'Add to Basket' button and you will be taken automatically to your Shopping Basket.
The Shopping Basket
The products you are interested in are displayed clearly within the Shopping Basket. The Delivery Cost applicable will also be added here.
To continue shopping for other items, simply click the 'Continue Shopping' button and browse the rest of the web site, following the instructions above for adding more to your basket. You will be taken back to the Shopping Basket each time you add a product to it.
The contents of your Basket are displayed in the right column; you can go directly to the Basket at any time by clicking on ‘Edit basket’ button.
If you have made an error with your order, select the "X" next to the items that you want to delete. If you want to change the quantity of products simply type in a new quantity and press 'Update'. Your revised order will be displayed.
When you are happy with your selection select 'Go to Checkout' from within the Shopping Basket itself. Alternatively you can go direct to the Checkout at any time by clicking on the link in the right column.
Your Personal Details
If you have an account with us and are logged in you will be taken straight to the Checkout.
If not, you will be given three options:
- For customers with an existing account simply log in and you will be taken straight to the Checkout
- If you don’t have an account, but wish to create one (and save time the next time you are shopping with us) you have the option to do so here. When you have finished creating an account, click the link to go back to the checkout.
- If you don’t want to create an account you can simply ‘Buy & Go’. You will be asked to provide your personal details, once entered click the ‘Buy & Go’ link to proceed to the Checkout’.
In the Checkout
The Checkout provides a summary of all the products you are interested in as well as address details. You have a number of options in the Checkout:
- Where products are subject to VAT Relief, and you are eligible to claim this relief, you can fill in an online declaration form. VAT will be removed from these products and the revised price displayed.
- If you wish to change address details you can do so here. Once edited you will need to follow the links back to the Checkout. If you are lost use the link in the right column to go direct to Chckout.
Once you are happy with your order, you will be asked to confirm that you have read and agree with our Terms and Conditions by clicking on the box.
Once complete click on the ‘Proceed Secure Payment’ link.
Taking Payment
You will be asked to enter your card details in a secure environment. We use the latest security technology to ensure that your credit and debit card details are safe and secure and completely confidential.
Once payment has been confirmed, you will receive an acknowledgement email from us detailing the order. You will also receive separately confirmation of payment. Please contact us immediately if any of these details are incorrect.
Now all you have to do is wait for the goods to be delivered…
